Too many punk rock shows start sounding alike and when you are sitting there with your beer wondering if you should throw it rather than drink it you know it is going to be a crappy set. Los Bastardos on the other hand totally rocked the joint and is one of the better bands I have had the fortune to go see lately. Seriously you should go check them out, if you want to know their play book (where they are playing next) check out their Facebook page – their MySpace page did not load, so that was kind of crappy.
The rest of the gallery is right here – go click on over.
Los Bastardos line up is Doc on Vocals, Dick Whiskey on Drums with some seriously wicked dreds, I mean down to the ankles dreds, Spike on Bass, and Doug White on Guitars. Their brand of “Whiskey Fueled Rock” was definitely over the top and their show is high energy and frenetic. These folks will not slow down no matter how much beer they are drinking before or after the show. You get the feeling that they are playing their last show all the time, seriously high energy and motion on stage. The harmonies are awesome with the way that they blend their own styles into the standard punk rock set. You can’t define them, why bother, it’s just good tunes. Seriously these folks are doing this well and are well worth watching. So trot on over to their Facebook page and check them out, do some serious liking and go do their next show. You will not be disappointed, and if you are well there it is, no money will be refunded.
